Established in 1996, the Steel Bridge Business Unit leads in Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Finishing, Construction, Installation and Service. At first year of its operation, the Business Unit took order of fabricating a steel bridge of 30,740 meter in length and succeeded to be a pioneer in construction of truss bridge in the country. In the next years, the Company persistently penetrated the market and positioned itself among the top-4 steel bridge producers in Indonesia within less than 5 years. The persistent effort was in line with the manufacturing of best design bridge and production of arch bridge in Kahayan, Central Kalimantan in 2003.
With strong commitment to technology enhancement and efficiency in products and system, the Company has produced and installed many long arch bridges almost in every region in Indonesia such as Pela and Mahulu Bridges in East Kalimantan, Kalahien and Kahayan Bridges in Central Kalimantan, Siak Tiga Bridge, Teluk Masjid and Siak Empat in Pekanbaru, Riau. Among the customers are PT Hutama Karya (Persero), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk, and Department of Public Works.
